本授業は功利主義とトマス・ホブズの社会契約の面から防災を議論する。この枠のなかから日本と海外の関係を掘り出す。特に、日本と、日本人と、海外と、日本にいる(住んでいると観光)外国人の関係を考える授業です(最初の発表は2026/1/15)。

SABO is the science, engineering and art of sediment disaster risk reduction. It has no real equivalent in the Western part of the world, nor outside Asia. At the laboratory, and from this lense, we are finding solutions to natural hazards and disaster risk reduction, climate change and sustainability issues, concentrating on the island arcs of Japan and Indonesia mostly.
